Very Slow Shaw Internet Connection

    For the past couple of days I have been encountering problems with my Shaw connection. I have a 50mbps connection and I am not getting this speed at all, instead I am getting 10mbps. Not only this but I am also getting frequent disconnections, the connection works fine then all of a sudden gets disconnected and this is happening after using it for an hour. I have to then restart the connection and its getting very annoying.

    Anyone else facing a similar problem?

    Are you using a router or have you connected directly to the modem?
